Forest Friends..My new favorite shirt

Hey my hippes,

You know I love all things nature,and this 100% silk blouse made by artist Carolyn Gavin is no exception. I had to have this zany little number filled with what I call “forest friends”. I love pieces like these, that have a bit of character and can make any day feel special. I decided to just wear it cuffed at the sleeves with a pair of dark classic levis,but I could easily see this worn with leggings,a skirt,or pair of jean shorts.I think this would really be beautiful with a pair of white jeans in the summer sun. The colors are so bold and varied that it really does pair well with anything. I wore a mix of causual and fine jewelry: my favorite saphire and diamond ring given to me many moons ago,and some gold and turquoise too. I also decided to throw a pearl and gold clip in my bun for even more fun.I like to mix it up,it’s always more fun that way.I hope you hippes have a great weekend and enjoy some time with your friends.
